The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centers (IAML) encourages and promotes the activities of music libraries, archives and documentation centers to support and facilitate the realization of projects in music bibliography, music documentation and music library and information science at national and international levels. International congresses form an integral part of the IAML activities and take place annually, each year in a different place.
For more information visit the congress webpage iaml2025.at
Salzburg will host the IAML Congress in 2025. The main venue will be the new building of the Faculty of the Humanities of Paris Lodron University (UNIPARK Nonntal), however, the Opening Reception and some of the concerts will take place at Mozarteum University. As most Salzburg music libraries and archives will be working together organizing the conference, there will be ample opportunity to get in touch with the rich musical heritage of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s home town, sample some music and discover the beauties of Salzburg and its surroundings.
Host: IAML Österreich. Herrengasse 9, 1010 Wien
